Return & Refund Policy

At Home Decor UK, we want you to shop with confidence. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

This policy explains your rights, how returns work, and what to expect when requesting a refund or exchange.


Your Legal Rights (UK Customers)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason.

Once you have informed us of your cancellation, you then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

This gives you a total of up to 28 days from delivery to complete the cancellation and return process.


Our Extended Return Policy

In addition to your legal rights, we offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order, subject to the conditions below.


Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition

  • Be returned in original packaging

  • Include all accessories and inserts

  • Not show signs of use, damage, or alteration

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for return

  • Photos (if the item is faulty or damaged)

Once approved, we will provide return instructions.


Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of mind returns:
    Customers are responsible for return postage costs.

  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items:
    We will cover the return shipping costs and offer a replacement or full refund.

Please do not return items without contacting us first, as unapproved returns may not be accepted.


Damaged or Faulty Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with clear photos of the issue. We will resolve the issue promptly.


Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method

  • Refunds are issued within 10 working days of inspection

  • Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.


Order Cancellations

  • Orders that have not yet been dispatched can be cancelled for a full refund.

  • Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and must be returned in line with this policy.


Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us first.

In most cases, exchanges are handled by:

  1. Returning the original item

  2. Placing a new order for the replacement item

We will guide you through the process.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty:

  • Customised or made-to-order items

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Items damaged due to misuse or normal wear and tear

  • Perishable goods (where applicable)


Refund Method

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not offer refunds via bank transfer, cash, or alternative methods.
